Teresa Jane Burkholder, 58, of Newburg, Passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the home of her mother.

Born Thursday, November 3, 1960 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of Helen May Rotz Burkholder, and the late Lee Albert Burkholder.

Teresa was a 1978 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School, and attended Penn State Mont Alto. She was a member of the Newburg First Church of God. Teresa worked as a Legal Secretary for various law offices.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sisters, Dianne L. (Harry) Killian, and Wanda S. (David) Zeigler, all of Newburg; five nieces and nephews, Brandon (JoAnn) Killian, and Heather (Travis) Wilson, all of Shippensburg, Colton (Ashley) Zeigler, Carsyn, and Caleb Zeigler, all of Newburg; three great nephews; one great niece; and numerous aunts; uncles; and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with Pastor Wayne Good officiating. Burial will be in Mongul Cemetery. A viewing will be held Tuesday, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, in the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 50 Monument Road, Suite 100 Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
