Chambersburg Police Department reported a theft at a convenience store and a criminal mischief case this week. They also put out a community notice that a Megan’s Law offender is living in a Chambersburg neighborhood.
Such Court-designated offenders are required to register with the police when they move. Police are then required to notify the neighborhood.
THEFT: On July 22, 2019, at around 11 p.m. two Hispanic males entered Sheetz on Norland Avenue and stole multiple drinks from the store.
The suspects left the area in an unknown direction in an early to mid 90’s model Honda Accord. The vehicle was dark in color and had a front and rear fender that was a different color than the vehicle itself, and a large primer spot just behind the passenger side door window.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On July 22, 2019, Chambersburg Police responded to 22 Saint Paul Drive for a report of criminal mischief. Sometime between July 19 and July 22, two windows belonging to a business that address was shattered.
It is unclear what was used to damage the windows but the damage appeared to be intentional.

COMMUNITY NOTIFICATION: Christopher Cortes Garrison, who has been designated a Sexually Violent predator by the courts, is residing at 64 S. Federal St. in Chambersburg.
