CVAS encourages anyone interested in bringing a four-legged friend into their home to check out the wonderful animals available for adoptions at the shelter.

Pets find themselves homeless for a wide variety of reasons and in need of a new home and a second chance. So if you are looking for a new furry best friend, check out the shelter’s many residents. Any of them would make a great pet and wonderful companion.

Joy came into the shelter as a stray, so we don’t know a lot about her, but look at that face! It’s so smooshable!

We think she’s about 3 years old and she’s pretty mellow.

She’s a Mastiff who sometimes gets the “zoomies” and probably would do best in a home that understands the mastiff/bully breeds.

Because we have no past history with children, an age restriction might apply, so please discuss this with shelter staff. Joy loves attention and will be an awesome pup for a lucky person!

Gabriel Is a Super Sweet Fellow

Pet of the week
Gabriel likes to curl up under the blankets.

Breed: Domestic Short Hair Mix
Coat Length: Short
House Trained: Yes
Health: Vaccinations up to date, spayed/neutered

Gabriel is a black-and-white, 5-month-old fellow who is super sweet.

He came into us a stray and sometimes will curl up under his blankets in the kennel, so if you come out to meet him, make sure you look under the blankets to find him.

This cutie will be the hit of the home once he finds his second chance.
