Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter has lots of adorable pets who are looking for forever homes.

CVAS encourages anyone interested in bringing a four-legged friend into their home to check out the wonderful animals available for adoptions at the shelter.

Pets find themselves homeless for a wide variety of reasons and in need of a new home and a second chance. So if you are looking for a new furry best friend, check out the shelter’s many residents. Any of them would make a great pet and wonderful companion.

Meet Floyd

Floyd is a 7-year-old boxer. Just look at that face!

Breed: Boxer
Coat Length: Short
House Trained:
Health: Vaccinations up to date, spayed/neutered

Floyd is a 7-year-old boxer. Just look at that face! He came into us as a stray, so we don’t know a lot about him, but from what we’ve seen so far, he doesn’t seem to do well with other animals.

He’ll need to be the only four-legged baby in the house. Floyd absolutely adores people, though and he knows sit, down and stay.
