GREENCASTLE (August 12, 2019) — Mike Ross, president of Franklin County Area Development Corporation, is scheduled as guest speaker Thursday at Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce’s breakfast Thursday.

FCADC is responsible for initiating, implementing, and promoting a comprehensive economic development strategy centered on the retention/expansion of existing companies, the selective attraction of new industries, and the start-up of new businesses in Franklin County.
Under Mike’s direction, FCADC has facilitated more than 757 projects throughout the county. The projects have resulted in more than $2.1 billion of new investments. Most importantly, the projects have created/retained nearly 48,000 employment positions.
Having served as president of FCADC since its start-up in 1986, Mike holds a BA degree in Political Science from Slippery Rock University and is a graduate of the Economic Development Institute, Oklahoma University.
Prior to coming to FCADC, Mike spent more than eight years with the Pennsylvania Department of Commerce.
