CHAMBERSBURG — Local police have a message for the person who lost a large baggie filled with a leafy green substance last night.

Come into the Chambersburg Police Station. Officers are keeping it safe for you.

Police said the baggie contained 4 ounces (112 grams) of marijuana.

The baggie filled with marijuana was found in a yard near the street in the 900 block of South Fourth Street this morning, according to police.

It was taken to the station where it was tested, weighed ad photographed. Police said the baggie contained 4 ounces (112 grams) of marijuana.

Police are at this time treating it as a lost and found case. The baggie and its contents are being held at the station at 116 S. Second St.

In a CRIMEWATCH® post this morning, police invited the baggie’s owner to stop by the station and claim their property.
