Mar 1 to Apr 19 – Art Teachers Work Featured

April 19 - April 20

Art teachers work featured

CHAMBERSBURG — The creative works of 21 local art teachers will be featured at an exhibit that opened March 1 at the Chambersburg Council for the Arts.

The Council for the Arts is proud to present “Inspiration: Council Educators 2019”, currently on view through April 19 in its gallery at 81 North Main Street, Chambersburg, PA.

The exhibition features the works of 21 Council teachers, with a wide range of media and both abstract and realistic styles and techniques.

The Council’s classes range from children’s classes, with both project-oriented classes for younger children and drawing classes for preteens and teens, to adult classes in drawing and colored pencil, and oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastel painting.

Photography and Lightroom Photo Software classes are also available.

Other classes feature three-dimensional projects, such as clay, baskets, papercrafts, paper cutting, and felted scarves, hats, purses and wall hangings.

The Inspirations exhibit features all of these media and styles, and so is a both wonderfully eclectic and professional display.
