At the December 17th regular board meeting, CASD Superintendent Dr. Dion Betts recognized Haley Rohm, CASHS Senior, as the winner of the CASD December Kindness Challenge. Haley was presented with a Superintendent’s Commendation certificate and Trojan Pin. The theme of the December Kindness Challenge was a “random act of kindness.”

Recently a bus accident occurred in which a truck drove into the back of a school bus that Haley was riding. Despite experiencing tremendous pain, the first thing Haley did following the accident was to check on the well-being of the younger children behind her seat.

Please join us in congratulating Haley on her recognition and thanking her for this selfless act.
