CHAMBERSBURG —Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter has lots of adorable pets who are looking for forever homes. CVAS encourages anyone interested in bringing a four-legged friend into their home to check out the wonderful animals available for adoptions at the shelter.

Two bunnies who are bonded!

This pair of bunnies came into the shelter together because their owner was moving and couldn’t take them along.

El Leon is a 4-year-old Lionhead bunny and he is the chocolate-and-white bunny with the longer hair. Ghibli is a 6-year-old mini Lop mix rabbit who is gray-and-white. She is spayed and El Leon is neutered.

El Leon is the leader of the pair and Ghibli usually follows. They sleep snuggled up together and we are looking for a home for them where they can be together.

Ghibli is so dependent on El Leon, we really don’t know what would happen if we tried to separate them. The owner told us Ghibli came from kind of a rough situation, so she can be a little skittish.
