CHAMBERSBURG (Aug. 25, 2019) — Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter (CVAS) has lots of adorable pets who are looking for forever homes.
CVAS encourages anyone interested in bringing a four-legged friend into their home to check out the wonderful animals available for adoptions at the shelter.
Meet Bobby, a 2-year-old who loves a good run
Bobby is a 2-year-old Alaskan Malamute mix. He came to the shelter because his owner could no longer care for him.
Bobby is a runner so he will need someone that can supervise him closely around doors and when he is in a fenced-in yard (he can and will jump fences when left alone). Bobby also chases cats and won’t leave them alone, so he’ll need to go to a home without felines. Regular exercise is necessary and he must meet all family members in the home. Can you help Bobby out of a kennel and into your home?
Who wants to cuddle with Mateo
Mateo is a 3-year-old orange tabby who came into the shelter because his owner was moving and couldn’t take him along. He needed some time to get used to shelter life. So we let him hang out in the back for a bit and he came around to be a real loving boy. If you have the heart and home to give this sweetheart a second chance, he’d love to meet you!
These boys are still looking for forever homes
Harry and Larry would love to wish everyone a good Sunday morning! These two are still looking for their forever home(s)!
These boys are 10-month-old pot bellied pigs and love to play in their kiddie pool! They also enjoy getting a good scratch and enjoy their treats (in moderation of course!)
Harry and Larry would love to find that special someone!
