The Borough of Chambersburg is accepting applications for its 2020 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.

Town officials believe the US Dept. of Housing and Urban Affairs funding will be about $300,000 this year. This amount is preliminary, subject to change based on approval of the Federal Budget for the fiscal year 2020.

In preparation for the 2020 CDBG allocation, applications will be taken from non-profit organizations for projects benefiting the town’s lower-income residents.

2020 CDBG Applications must be submitted to Borough Hall no later than Friday, March 13, 2020 at 4:00 p.m.

Organizations or individuals with questions about the CDBG program, or need technical help should contact Phil Wolgemuth, Deputy Borough Manager, at 717-251-2436 or pwolgemuth@chambersburgpa.gov.
