Plans are underway for a new $13 million allied health building at Penn State Mont Alto. The proposed facility will house the University’s nursing, physical therapist assistant and occupational therapy assistant programs.

Based upon early successes, “The Art and Science of Human Flourishing” will be offered as a three-credit course at Penn State Mont Alto. The new course is the focus of a research study evaluating possible outcomes in increased student health and well-being.
Over the past two decades, Penn State Mont Alto has graduated nurses, occupational therapy assistants, physical therapist assistants, and human development and family studies professionals who work in all areas of healthcare and education.
Nursing students and local emergency response will rescue the "victims" and provide additional treatment in preparation to airlift the patients to a medical facility.
Penn State Mont Alto theater arts students produce puppet show for local youngsters. The show, to be put on at the Chambersburg YMCA by Penn State theatrical arts students, will be presented from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
During the week-long day camp, participants will challenge other teams in Lego Mindstorms EV3 robotics competitions, delve into the world of chemistry, test their flying skills with Quad Copter X5 drones, get up close and personal with computers, and much more.
