GREENCASTLE— it takes a village — or a town — or at least a group of volunteers — to clean streets and parks in a community.

On April 27, that’s what a group of about three dozen volunteers did in Greencastle.

They came together for the Keep Greencastle Green event, organized by the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce, collecting about two dozen large 30-gallon bags of refuse from Greencastle streets and parks.

Breakfast was provided by Mama K’s Buns, and cleanup supplies were donated by PennDOT.
