CHAMBERSBURG — Police are seeking the public’s help in finding two people who assaulted and robbed another person at the local 4th St Skatepark last week.
Chambersburg police ask that anyone who might have witnessed the March 22 incident or have information about it call the department at 717-264-4131 or leave a tip at the Crimewatch website.
The assault and robbery took place at the 4th St Skatepark early Friday evening, according to police.
Police said two white males in their teens or early 20s hit the victim multiple times in the head an on his arm with a skateboard then took his jacket and gloves and fled the area.
The males were last seen traveling east bound on Nelson St from the 4th St Skatepark. The jacket was later discovered in the 100 block of North Sixth Street.
The victim suffered minor injuries.
The suspects were last seen traveling east on Nelson Street before the arrival of police on the scene at 6:58 p.m.
Police did not provide a physical discription of the assailants.
