Shippensburg University senior Samantha Webber was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Southeast Division Volleyball Athlete of the Week on Tuesday afternoon by the league office.

Webber was dynamic in a pair of victories over Kutztown and East Stroudsburg, totaling 38 kills, six blocks and hitting .337 over the course of the two matches. The weekend wins made the Raiders one of just two remaining one-loss teams in the league.

In a five-set win over East Stroudsburg, Webber totaled 24 kills – including the match clincher to cap an 18-16 fifth set. She hit .327 on 49 swings despite ESU having 15 blocks in the match. Webber also had four block assists. Her 24 kills are one short of the career high she achieved earlier this season against Walsh.

On Friday, in a four-set win over Kutztown, Webber had 14 kills, two dynamic solo blocks and hit .353 over 34 attempts.
