FRANKLIN COUNTY (Sept.11, 2019) — Police in Waynesboro report several arrests recently. Just across the border, sheriff’s officers are looking for a man involved in an incident in Hagerstown, Md.

PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: Chambersburg police are investigating a pedestrian accident on Lincoln Way Wednesday. Police said a car hit a pedestrian at 4:20 p.m. on Lincoln Way West at Hood Street.

The pedestrian was walking east on the north sidewalk on Lincoln Way West.  A Toyota SUV was traveling south on Hood St.  The pedestrian was hit by the front of the SUV when he or she attempted to cross the intersection in the pedestrian crossing area.  The injuries of the pedestrian are unknown at this time, police said. The incident is still under investigation. Police did not provide any other information.

FUGITIVE: The Washington County Sheriff’s Office in Hagerstown, Md., is seeking the community’s assistance with identifying the below pictured male.

LOITERING, PROWLING: Teisha M. Bryant-Harris, 39, no fixed address, has been charged with one count each of loitering & prowling at night, receiving stolen property and public drunkenness after it was reported several items had been stolen from a vehicle on W. Fourth Street on August 23 at 2:45 a.m.

THEFT: Alyssa K. Reed, 32, Waynesboro, has been charged with three counts of theft by unlawful taking after several items were reported stolen from a residence on June 24 at 10:52 p.m. on W. Main Street.

INTERLOCK VIOLATION: Lucas D. Lindewurth, 32, Chambersburg, has been charged with one count of illegally operating a motor vehicle not equipped with ignition interlock after a traffic stop was conducted on W. Main Street on August 9 at 9:30 p.m.

BICYCLE THEFT: Chambersburg Police Department took a report of a theft of a bicycle on Sept. 7. The bicycle was to the rear of 947 Wayne Ave at the time of the theft. The suspect left a black bicycle in place of the victim’s bicycle. The stolen bicycle is a black Mongoose with red and white trim. It also has an oversized gray seat.

PACKAGE THEFT: On Sept. 6, Chambersburg Police Department took a report of a package that was stolen off the front porch of a residence in the 600 block of Cumberland Ave. The package contained a Gold stainless steel series 4 Apple Watch.
