Arrested in the Bronx on CPD Warrant

A man wanted by Chambersburg police on false identification charges dating back to February has been arrested in New York.

Radiant K. Williams

Radiant K Williams, 36, is in custody in the Bronx, New York, on an arrest warrant issued Feb. 22 by Magisterial District Judge Glenn Manns.

Williams’ address is listed as Chambersburg in local court documents. He faces charges here of providing false information about his identity to a uniformed police officer during a traffic stop.

Police pulled the vehicle he was driving over that day and had just advised him that he was under official investigation.

In addition to the false ID charge, a misdemeanor, he has three summary offenses pending. Those include improper use of a dealer registration plate, driving without a license and not having a registration permit with the vehicle he was driving.


Arrest Warrant Issued

Chambersburg police obtained a warrant this week for the arrest of Gail Taneen Brown, 42, of Chambersburg.

She is accused of withholding information as to the identity of a driver who fled the scene of an accident, and who was driving Brown’s vehicle at the time. 

Magisterial District Judge Glenn Manns issued an arrest warrant for Brown on a misdemeanor charge of hindering apprehension or prosecution by providing false information to law enforcement officers.

Retail Theft Arrest

Chambersburg Police responded to Sheetz located at 875 Norland Avenue for a report of a retail theft. Store employees reported a male concealed a six pack of beer in his backpack and exited the store.

A 16-year-old boy identified as the suspect has been charged with one count of retail theft


Criminal Mischief Investigated

CPD responded to Penske Logistics, 1440 Sheffler Dr., at 8:42 p.m. Nov.11 for a report of criminal mischief.  Several vehicles owned by employees were vandalized while they were working their shift that evening.

Theft by Unlawful Taking

CPD took a report of bricks stolen from the Borough Farm on Dump Rd. on Nov. 26. The bricks were light brown and dark brown in color on their own respective pallets. Both pallets were approximately half full.

Accident Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle

Charles Eichelberger was charged with Accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle or property after he purposely ran his Nissan truck into the back of a beer delivery truck in the parking lot of 1121 Lincoln Way E. causing slight damage to the rear of the truck and a hand truck attached to the back, then leaving the scene.
