A cell phone was reunited with its owner, a woman accused of not returned rented equipment turned herself into a local magistrate’s office, a woman was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and a man was charged with DUI in the most recent police reports.


Chambersburg Police Log

The owner of a Motorola cell phone turned into Chambersburg police on Nov. 3 has been reunited with his/her telephone, according to Chambersburg police. The owner came into the police station on South Second Street on Nov. 5 and provided proof of ownership. The individual was able to successfully provide the code which unlocked the cell phone, police said.

The case was competently handled by patrol officers who were able to successfully reunite the phone with its owner. 


In other local cases, Candy Lee Duncan, 35, turned herself in at the magistrate’s office on Oct. 28.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Jose E. Espinoza, Chambersburg, has been cited for disorderly conduct after a fight occurred on South Potomac Street on October 27 at 12:13 a.m.  

DRUGS: A 17-year-old male has been charged with one count each of possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident occurred on October 28 at 9:34 a.m. on East Second Street.  

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS: Daniel C. Wyatt, Waynesboro, has been cited for public drunkenness after police received a report of a suspicious person on North Broad Street on October 30 at 6:03 p.m.  

DRUGS: A 17-year-old male has been charged with one count each of possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident occurred on November 4 at 10:26 a.m. on East Second Street.
