CHAMBERSBURG (Nov. 16, 2019) — Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter has lots of adorable pets who are looking for forever homes.

CVAS encourages anyone interested in bringing a four-legged friend into their home to check out the wonderful animals available for adoptions at the shelter.

Pets find themselves homeless for a wide variety of reasons and in need of a new home and a second chance. So if you are looking for a new furry best friend, check out the shelter’s many residents. Any of them would make a great pet and wonderful companion.

Hank is a Sweet Guy

Hank was surrendered to the shelter because his owner could no longer care for him. Hank is currently around 90 lbs and has a lot of weight to gain yet.

The Chamber Staff is always available to talk with you about how your business could greatly benefit from membership.

Hank is a sweet guy but will need someone that has experience with mastiffs and mastiff mixes. He does seem to have some stiffness in his joints but he was recently diagnosed with Lyme and is currently being treated for it.

Hank does have a chase drive so a home without cats would be best for him. Hank does jump up when he gets excited so an age restriction for children in the home may apply, please discuss this with shelter staff. Hank would love to meet you and see if you are the one for him.

Bentley is a Playful Guy

Bentley was found in a window well with his sister and his mom. His mom has since found her forever home leaving Bentley and his sister to find forever homes of their own.

Bentley is a playful guy that loves to run around and play! Bentley would love to find his forever home soon!
