CHAMBERSBURG (Oct. 12, 2019) — Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter has lots of adorable pets who are looking for forever homes.

CVAS encourages anyone interested in bringing a four-legged friend into their home to check out the wonderful animals available for adoptions at the shelter.

Pets find themselves homeless for a wide variety of reasons and in need of a new home and a second chance. So if you are looking for a new furry best friend, check out our many residents. Any of them would make a great pet and wonderful companion.

Hercules Is Incredibly Friendly

Hercules is a 7-month-old, 70-pound English mastiff. He is one big boy and not done growing yet! He came into us as a stray, believe it or not, so we don’t have a lot of information about him.

The Chamber Staff is always available to talk with you about how your business could greatly benefit from membership.

He’s an incredibly friendly boy, but because of his size and energy level, an age restriction for children may apply. If you think you can help Hercules, please stop out.

Mystic the Talking Cat

Mystic likes to talk to you

Mystic is a 2-year-old brown tabby with white and a little orange thrown in for good measure. She came into the shelter as a stray, so we don’t know a lot about her past, but she is a sweet girl.

She likes to rub against her cage door and she’ll talk with you while you’re there.

Mystic will make someone a nice companion.
