GREENCASTLE, PA (Sept. 6, 2019) — The Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce invites both members and the general public to its September Chamber breakfast to hear about the current opioid crisis.
The breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 19 at The John Allison Public House, 1155 S. Antrim Way.
A representative from the Healthy Communities Partnership of Greater Franklin County will talk about recognizing opioids and preventing and responding to opioid overdose. Attendees can learn how to administer Naloxone, a medication that reverses an opioid overdose.
Healthy Communities Partnership of Greater Franklin County is a private, non-profit organization headquartered in Chambersburg. It provides high-quality programs and initiatives that help create a stronger, healthier community. The organization brings together community resources and services to initiate positive change.
