MONT ALTO – Penn State Mont Alto golf coach Bill Burke announced his team’s 2019 fall schedule available on

The schedule includes four tournaments, concluding with the 2019 PSUAC/USCAA National Championships in early October at the Penn State Blue Course in State College.

Schedule rundown:

PSUAC Invitational
September 5
Penn State White Course | State College, Pa.
Host: Penn State Hazleton
Info: Mont Alto finished fifth at the event a season ago with graduated senior Austin Green claiming individual medalist honors by firing a 68. As a team the Nittany Lions totaled 330 strokes, which was 13 behind Penn State Wilkes-Barre who claimed the team championship.

Elizabethtown Invitational
September 17
Hershey Country Club | Hershey, Pa.
Host: Elizabethtown College
Info: The Nittany Lions have competed in this tournament for the past two-seasons finishing 16th a season ago and tied for 15th out of 20 teams during the 2017 season.

PSUAC Invitational
September 23
Penn State Blue Course | State College, Pa.
Host: Penn State Mont Alto
Info: This marks the fifth time since 2012 that Mont Alto has competed in the second of the PSUAC Invitational’s with this event occurring on the Blue Course. PSUMA posted a four-man output of 343 strokes to claim 3rd place last fall.

Penn State Hazleton Invitational
September 30
Valley Country Club | Sugarloaf, Pa.
Host: Penn State Hazleton
Info: Mont Alto returns to this competition for the first time since 2017 when they tied for second. Of the expected golfers on the 2019 roster, none of which have competed at the Valley Country Club.

2019 PSUAC/USCAA National Championships
October 7-8
Penn State Blue Course | State College, Pa.
Info: The tournament is a two-round event with the shot-gun start times expected to be released later this summer by the USCAA. Mont Alto finished third amongst the PSUAC schools and finished the overall tournament in 12th place.
