FRANKLIN COUNTY (Oct. 7, 2019) — The death of 53-year-old Michael Dieugenio of Waynesboro last weekend is still under investigation. Police say there was no sign of foul play, however.

Franklin County’s Emergency Management 911 Center dispatched Pennsylvania State Police to Greene Township for a report of a man floating face down in a pond at 11:40 a.m. Saturday.

The Franklin County Coroner’s Office and Franklin Fire Co. emergency personnel also responded to the call on Siloam Road.

Police have not released a cause of death, but a post on the Franklin’s Facebook page called it a drowning.
