SHIPPENSBURG — A man who drove to the Shippensburg Police Department to talk to an officer last month about an ongoing civil property case has been charged with a DUI.

Police said when Jaime Hernandez, 43, came into the station at 10:30 p.m. May 12 an officer noticed he was “visibly intoxicated” and arrested him.

He was taken to a hospital for drug and alcohol testiing.

After the final lab and toxicology reports were received, a criminal complaint was filed on June 10 charging Hernandez with driving under the influence of a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance.
