Dual railroad service to Chambers–5 Business Park is a short time away, according to Charles Schlichter, president of the Chambersburg Area Development Corp., a nonprofit corporation that developed the business park. The rail project will join the Conrail and CSX lines in the park. The estimated cost has gone from $1 million to $3.5 million in 2 ½ years.

Thursday – May 14, 1919

Forty members of the Lockwood Bachelors Club journeyed to Graffenburg Inn by automobile last evening and ate one of the chicken and waffle suppers for which the mountain home is famous. The dinner was for the purpose of bringing members of the club together for a sociable evening. After the meal, the Bachelors made merry with speeches, jokes, and songs.
