CHAMBERSBURG (April 10) — Police are looking for two men who robbed a downtown jewelry store this afternoon.

The men entered Ludwig’s Jewelers on South Main Street at 2:03 p.m. Wednesday and took jewelry “unlawfully, ” police said in a news release.

Police obtained photos of the men from surveillance video cameras set up downtown by the borough to help deter crime.

One of the men was wearing a lime green sweatshirt and the other a white T-shirt, police said.

The surveillance cameras also captured photos of a bright green Kia Soul vehicle with Pennsylvania license plates believed to be connected to the crime.

Police said no one was physically injured during the robbery.  They did not release details about what was taken or the value of the stolen jewelry.

Anyone with information on the suspects or vehicle l in the attached photographs is asked to contact CPD at 717-264-4131 or submit a tip through CrimeWatch.

The subjects and vehicle depicted are of interest to this active and ongoing investigation, police said.

  1. Just a suggestion, if you are going to commit a crime, it is usually best if you refrain from wearing bright colors that make you easy to recognize. When you do that people are likely to remember that detail and you will stand out if there is a chase. 😏😏
