MERCERSBURG (Oct. 22) — The D.L. Martin Co. recognizes Jeff Ficks as Employee of the Month for September. Jeff lives in Little Cove and has been with the company for 9 years.

He is a Machine Operator in the CNC Department. His supervisor, Alan Bryan, is a Production Supervisor who has been with the D.L. Martin Co. for 5 months.

To eliminate the need to transport various Omega CWT Guide Interfaces from Building 4 to Building 1 to drill 17.5 mm holes on the Mazak MTV-815 Vertical Machining Center, Jeff suggested changing the Trumpf Laser program to cut the holes to size on the laser.

The company also recognizes Lance Hopkins, Ron Kaiser, Nicole Kreps, Derrick MacDowall and Roy Pittman for their suggestions implemented through the company’s Continual Improvement Program in September.
