WAYNESBORO — A Hagerstown man has been charged with 21 counts each of identity theft and access device fraud. He was also charged with one count of forgery and theft of property mislaid.

Raymond Lester Johnson Jr. was arrested on June 3 by Waynesboro Police. His preliminary arraignment was held on June 5, where Magisterial District Judge David Plum set his bail at $50,000. Johnson was unable to post bail and remains in Franklin County Jail.

His preliminary hearing was held on June 11. His formal arraignment is scheduled for 1:15 p.m. July 10 in Franklin County Court.
