CHAMBERSBURG (Oct. 7, 2019) – The Foundry Artist Cooperative invites regional artists to participate in an Artist Challenge Oct.19 from 10 a.m.-12 noon.

Artists will have two hours in which to complete a project in the medium of their choice, in the midst of Chambersburg’s AppleFest. All projects will be on display in the Foundry gallery through Nov. 30 then raffled off to benefit the Foundry’s community-based art projects.

There is no fee to participate, and artists will be eligible for prizes that include a free year’s membership in the Foundry. To sign up, email Christine at and for complete details, go to

The Challenge creations will be on view in the Foundry, 100 S. Main St., Oct. 19 through Nov. 30 during regular retail hours Thursdays 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Fridays 11 a.m.-7.p.m., Saturdays 10-5 and Sundays 11-3.
